I frequently get asked where I buy my kids’ clothing from… and when I tell them where and I also tell them how I scored them for free… so I wanted to share the wealth with you alll!

A couple of years ago, my best friend introduced me to Boden and Mini Boden, which now just happens to be one of my absolute favorite places to go-a-shopping online!!!  They have super adorable clothes that are so different from other stores!  Now, listen up before you tell me how expensive they are because I am going to tell you how this frugal mama scores clothes totally FREE from Boden every year with a little patience…. first of all they have a refer-a-friend program HERE, (you have to create an account first)…. you can earn $20 a month by referring up to 4 friends to receive their clothing magazine.  Now $20 doesn’t amount to a lot considering the price of their clothing, but I save it up for most of the year ($240 for the year) and then wait for their sales… where they will mark clothes down by up to 50%. By the time the sale hits, I usually have close to $200 saved up in credits that I can use…. so I shop and shop well!  I usually buy the kids school clothes with these credits, but I have purchased 3 sweatshirts for myself-that I LOVE and always wear!  Maybe because I am addicted to polka-dots and stripes…

This striped Cosy Hoodie above is super expensive to me ($68…yikes).  I have enough credits for it right now and could order it, but I can’t bring myself to *spend* that much money on it (even though it is free with my referral credits)… so I am hoping that it will go on sale in the summer so that I can snag it for a cheaper free as a little treat for myself!!

Okay, guys I am rushing through this as I am headed back out the door… but I wanted to give you a heads up on the clearance deals going on at Wal-Mart right now! 

Most of the clearanced out toys are now 65%-90% off at my Wal-Mart.  At this point they stil had quite a bit of stuff left, but it was going quickly! 

Some of the items I got:

Local Wichita: Plato’s Closet Clearance Jeans $7!

Okay, so those of you who know me know that I am a SUPER HUGE fan of getting things on the cheap!   I also enjoy a little bit of fashion occasionally!   Plato’s Closet has become one of my favorite places to shop for this exact reason!  For those of you unfamiliar with Plato’s Closet….they buy gently used brand name clothing and then resell them at a reasonable price!  This past Sunday we headed over there and I bought two pair of really cute jeans for $12 each-one pair still had the tags on them!!   They had a clearance section where some jeans were marked as low as $7 and $8.

They carry name brand clothing such as American Eagle, Aeropostale, Lucky, Silver, Abercrombie and many other brands!

Right now they have a 50% or $7 sale going on for their clearance jeans-whichever is cheaper!

If you are on a tight budget or if you are like me and just hate spending money on clothing then this is the place to go!

Free Swagbucks Everyday This Week

I saw this last week and meant to post it by yesterday, but almost forgot!  Swagbucks is 6 free Swagbucks this week!  There will be a new code available on the toolbar everyday this week!   It is available until 6:30 pm (I know I am posting this late today, sorry)!

How to get it:

1. Log in (sign up if you haven’t yet) to Swagbucks HERE.  If you are new, you will automatically get 3 free swagbucks for signing up through this referral link.

2. Download the Swagbucks toolbar and  install in on your browser (this is where you will search and earn points).  If you do not want to install the toolbar, you can still go to the Swagbucks site and search for  points, but you won’t get the free Swagbucks they are offering this week.

3.  Check the little mail icon on the toolbar and you will see a code for 1 free swagbuck.

4. On your “Home” page you will copy and paste the swag code where it says “Enter a Swag Code.  Then click “Gimme.”

Cheap Aquafina water at Walgreens!

Okay, so I have held off on posting this deal until I had confirmation that it would actually work.   Two friends emailed me this morning to tell me that it did indeed work for them… so here’s the deal and sorry for posting it is late, it will work through tomorrow (1/9).. though the RR deal will work through January.

There is a month long Pepsi Register Reward deal where you spend $20(before coupons) you get $10 in Register Rewards.   Aquafina is included in the RR deal.

So when you buy 4-24pks. of Aquafina which are $5.99/ea. before the Walgreens coupon in this weeks flyer. Total =$23.96.

Then  when you give the cashier the Walgreens coupon (from the ad) it should take off $8, but since the coupon states “limit 2″ it may not work… it will depend on your cashier! 

After the purchase a $10 Register Reward will print, making these $1.49 each!!
