Wrap as you buy so you don’t have so many gifts to wrap at once.

I shop throughout the year. That alleviates holiday stress and allows me to stretch my budget, since I can take advantage of sales throughout the year!

I love shopping with my husband or a friend. We make it fun by going to dinner and then just we relax with enjoyable company and laugh our way through the madness. Of course, a list and preparation with coupons/sales helps as well! If I dread it, I will not have fun, but if I look forward to a night out, makes all the difference!

Start with a good attitude. Prepare for delays. Make a list. Think about the person you are making a purchase for…say a prayer for them and recall good times with them. Think of their goodness. :)

I love traveling to this little town with the coolest little shop with my Aunt…we have been doing it the last few years! It is always a good trip to look forward to and it just gets me in the spirit because they are friendly and the Christmas music is in full swing.

My best tip isn’t the shopping it is the wrapping: I wrap gifts and tape then my husband adds the labels to make a short assembly line!

Earlier this week the family was sharing Christmas memories and mine was of my great-grandmother wrapping presents in the colored Sunday comics. The kids thought that was really neat, so I have started saving the comics to wrap their presents in!

Best Christmas tip: listen to Christmas music as I bake, shop, run errands and wrap gifts. It really puts me in a super holiday mood!
